Fish fry is a beloved classic that combines bold spices with a crispy texture for a truly satisfying meal. Here’s how to make this spicy, crunchy fish fry that’s perfect for lunch or dinner.


Ingredients:

Fish cutlets or fillets

Turmeric powder

Fish masala

Garam masala

Black pepper powder

Salt

Ginger-garlic paste

Corn flour

Rice flour

Semolina (rava)

Lemon juice

Curd (plainyogurt)

Ghee and oil for frying

Method: In a bowl, combine turmeric, fish masala, garam masala, black pepper, salt, ginger-garlic paste, corn flour, rice flour, semolina, lemon juice, and curd.

Mix thoroughly to form a smooth marinade.

Coat fish pieces well on both sides with this mixture.

Heat ghee in a pan, add the fish, and fry. 

As fish cooks, you may apply leftover marinade on top and pour a little oil for extra crispiness.

Fry each side for around 10 minutes on medium heat until golden brown and cooked through.

Turn off the flame and serve hot with lemon wedges or a side salad.
