Crispy Urad Dal Vegetable Fritters – Healthy Snack Recipe
Looking for a healthy and tasty snack? These Urad Dal Vegetable Fritters are perfect! Made with urad dal, vegetables, and light spices, they’re crispy outside, soft inside, and full of flavour.
Ingredients:
1 cup urad dal (soaked & ground batter)
½ cup flattened rice (soaked)
2 tbsp semolina (suji)
½ cup boiled & mashed cauliflower
½ cup boiled & mashed carrots
1 cup boiled & mashed potatoes
2–3 garlic cloves (crushed)
2 medium onions (chopped)
1 tomato (chopped)
2–3 green chillies (chopped)
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp garam masala
Salt as per taste
1 tsp ghee (Clarified butter)
Oil for shallow frying

Instructions:
1. In a bowl, add urad dal batter, soaked poha, and semolina.
2. Add mashed veggies, garlic, onions, tomato, chillies, spices, and ghee. Mix well.
3. Shape into small round fritters.
4. Heat oil in a pan, place fritters, cover, and cook on both sides until golden.
5. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.

Tips:
You can add spinach or cabbage for extra nutrition.
