This colourful and flavourful pomegranate raita is more than just a side dish — it’s a cooling and digestive-friendly treat that goes beautifully with rice, biryani, or chapatis.
Ingredients:
One bowl of fresh, thick curd (yoghurt)
A few crushed saffron strands
A pinch of pepper powder
A pinch of roasted cumin or jeera powder
A little sugar — optional
Salt to taste
And finally, one full bowl of fresh pomegranate seeds
Method:
1. In a bowl, add curd (Yoghurt).
2. Mix in crushed saffron strands, pepper powder,cumin powder, salt, and sugar (if using).
3. Add pomegranate seeds and stir gently.
